Trancedance

Trancedance takes you on an inner journey, beyond your usual perceptions of time and space. Wearing a blindfold facilitates mental vision, clarity of thought, physical power, and emotional comfort. We dance to specific music, carefully chosen by the facilitators, to reinvent ourselves, to embrace our fears, and to move toward creating our dreams. We dance to celebrate life.

Trancedance

Good to know before you dance.

  • Trancedance is danced to a predefined musical wave.
  • We dance blindfolded throughout — no one watches and no one is watched; only the safety facilitators stay unblindfolded.
  • If you need to remove the blindfold, please step out of the room, and keep coming-and-going to a minimum.
  • Prepare for the ritual and hydrate beforehand.
  • All movements are welcome — the only limits are safety for you and others.
  • It is danced without alcohol or any consciousness-impairing substances.
  • Bring a long, skin-comfortable blindfold (a good sleep mask works well).
  • Dress comfortably — the floor is wood and you can dance barefoot.
  • If you have any health considerations, please tell us before final registration.
